Restoration
As a partner for Mercedes-Benz vehicles, the Classic Akademie is equipped with the know-how to repair complex assemblies and units. Particularly in the area of automatic transmissions of generations 1 - 2, the Classic Akademie also has a great advantage due to the workshop equipment.
By using the original Mercedes-Benz test benches, the respective transmissions can be checked, tested and then approved. Adjustment work can be carried out in the dismantled state, so that only fine adjustments are then necessary in the vehicle - if at all.
We are happy to offer this service in addition, but it is not absolutely necessary, as the adjustment work can also be carried out in the installed state in the corresponding vehicle. You are welcome to send us your gearbox. Ideally, there should be a clear error pattern. Or you would like a general overhaul including visual reconditioning.
We currently still have 10 gearboxes in stock, which we can recondition as exchange units or offer as parts carriers.
